I Thought It was Monday...

We were resting on the couch in the late morning today, watching The Invincibles, and eating salad & watermelons, when suddenly the door from the back yard was yanked open, and two armed policemen barged in with their guns drawn. We jumped up, Stella covered herself up, and I asked them, what are you doing here. They said that they responded to a 911 call that claimed there were 2 transients and a dog squatting illegally in our house. I told them ‘You’re trespassing’, they demanded to see my ID, we had some back-and-forth, after which they left apologizing for their mistake. Wow!

For some reason, I thought that today was Monday, so after a few hours, I drove to the local police station to find out who called with this report. The station looked like the one in ‘Assault On Precinct 13’, it was empty and nobody came from behind the bullet-resistant glass, when I rang the bell. It took me a few hours to realize that today is Sunday...

We found out last week that the baby is going to be a girl.

Obviously we are delighted.

Now we thinking about what to name her.

Our Baby dog is dead

Our other dog, “Modah” (‘Baby’ in Chinese) died this afternoon after a few days of being very weak. He was about 12 years old. It was less than 3 months ago that his mother died, also of old age.

My honey is devastated. She brought both dogs from Shanghai in January, so that they could spend their last days here with her, but she did not expect that it will happen so soon… He just wobbled his way to the back yard, laid in the middle of the green grass, and stopped breathing.

RIP, Dog. I loved the little cuter.

Graphic designer? Corporate ID packager?

I am looking for a creative person who can help me complete a new logo design, possibly over this weekend. The work should take only an hour or two, as I have the simple concept fully detailed in my mind. I just don’t have any experience in image editing, photoshop, or "such as".

If you have nothing better to do today, and would like to work on a quick project for me, please email me (realhanan at yahoo dot com) with some samples of previous jobs, or a link to a portfolio, and your fees.

It is possible that I will use the design to create a larger program for my company in the next week or so. This may include brochures, stationary, website, maybe a new blog, etc., and I may want you to do those as well.
