Adrian Holovaty is a lead developer for the Django open source application framework. In 2006, he stumbled upon VGMix.com, an online community of amateur musicians who make recordings of video-game music. So he spent some time recording a guitar version of the Super Mario Bros 2 level-one theme, in the gypsy jazz style of Django Reinhardt

Nabuaki Date is a Japanese artist who makes ukuleles out of parts of Japanese buildings that are to be demolished. Each house is documented through photographs and the parts for the ukulele are chosen.
