The Original Plumber
Adrian Holovaty is a lead developer for the Django open source application framework. In 2006, he stumbled upon VGMix.com, an online community of amateur musicians who make recordings of video-game music. So he spent some time recording a guitar version of the Super Mario Bros 2 level-one theme, in the gypsy jazz style of Django Reinhardt

The song is actually from Doki Doki Panic. It was only a Mario game in the US because the real Mario 2 was too hard.

no, Nintendo thought that Mario 2 was too hard. Sure a few people may have jumped off the roof, but most Americans could have handled it
