Many sympathies. I know that hurts. Sometimes more then when people pass. Try to remember the good times. Karma, reincarnation, heaven, all that nice stuff. Happy Pagan Fertility Egg Hunt nonetheless...

My deepest condolences. There's nothing like losing a beloved pet. You see them in their favorite places and feel their presence for a long, long time.

That's really sad news, Hanan.

RIP Mama.

I recently lost my dog too, his name was Pépin et c'était une crème de petit chien. I am truly sorry for your loss; it hurts so much.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Our family knows your heartache - our 14 yr old Mini-Schnauzer died just last Sunday evening. You and yours are in our prayers.

It is never easy to lose a heartbeat one one's life.

Sorry to hear about your doggie. 13 years is a pretty good stretch. It makes your heart hurt when they leave.

Posted by: Eric Peterson at Mar 23, 2008 7:41:57 AM

I add my condolences. Pets bring so much to our lives, and leave such a vacuum when they go. My thoughts are with you.

So very sad to hear. Remember how happy she made you and how lucky she was to have you too.

So sorry, Hanan. We have a backyard full of departed Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. The loss of each one broke our hearts.

I am sorry for your loss.

Hanan,
Sorry for your loss. I had to put my last dog Bear to sleep in 1999 and just can't bring myself to get another... though I think about her often.
Jonco

Sorry to hear that man. My hamster just died and it was like losing a limb (and sadly, I am nearly 30). Wish you the best, and have a lovely Easter.

Posted by: Laura at Mar 23, 2008 11:23:21 AM

Sorry to hear that mate.
I'm in the same boat as Jonco too.

I am so sorry for your loss. She is beautiful and may she rest sweet in green pastures with lots of bones to chew and squirrels to chase.

Posted by: REBloGirl at Mar 23, 2008 8:05:25 PM

such a shame
on the other hand : think of the 13 wonderful years you had together, the 13 years the dog got treated nicely, just how it deserved, by you and your close ones

On ne remplace pas un chien par un autre mais on peut en aimer un autre. Toute ma sympathie.

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
