That is totally not a motorcycle...at least not one that I would ride. That looks more like what cars of the future are going to become.

Harley Pipes is right. A motorcycle is a very traditional and hidebound technology, where any real and useful progress must be hidden to prevent turning away the fossilized adherents of the past. Forget innovation. If it doesn't have the exact features that Grampy's bike had, then it's not a real motorcycle.
Motorcycles have the potential to shape the future, but not as long as they're stuck in the past.
