I remember a question that was hurled at me by a very old and wise friend of mine. " What are the 8 parts of speech? "
I froze but managed to give him 7. " You're better than 90% of our population." he told me.He then went on saying, "We are a country that cannot even speak our own language the right way"
I really can't blame him for saying that.
