durian does have that it's sorta-tasty-but-sorta-weird-sweet-but-odd-fragrant-yet-freaky sensation, doesn't it :P
i just ate corn smut a.k.a. huitlacoche (pronounced weet-lah-ko-chay) a few nights ago. the pres. of the ny myco society found it fresh in a corn field in upstate ny and it was delish! you can find that in all the mexican restaurants out in ca. i think. i dare you to eat some huitlacoche!
