"As early as 1992, students at Grinnell College, a small liberal arts school in Iowa, began receiving strange, anonymous letters in the mail. The letters contained homemade greeting cards with crudely drawn pictures—men crawling on the ground, toilets and trash cans, twin closet doors—and jokes that didn’t make any sense." Before it was a spa, in the early 80s, I believe Fairfield (Iowa) University became Maharishi University. They claimed to be teaching people to levitate, among other things.

I was looking over the assortment of comments and saw the flying racoon and it gave me a good chuckle (I guess I am easily amused).

A few years ago, somebody showed me a picture of a guy ice-climbing on a silo. At first it semed weird, but then it made sense to do that if there are no natural ice mountains to practice on. Anyway, now I know there's a good chance it could have been in Cedar Falls.
