A new semi-annual giveaway?

I’d like to create a new contest with some money prizes, but I’m drawing a blank. Please suggest some ideas to energize this place. It’s getting kind of boring…

I desperately hope that you do not quit. This is one of my most favorite blogs ever.
This is me at our Guitar Hero II party. Everybody was supposed to dress up like a rock person of their choice. I chose a character from Jem & the Holograms, just for fun. I somehow managed to make my way through a lot of vodka without losing my wig, yay.

Why don't you make your contest totally subjective? Have people post their 10 favorite bands or movies and you pick the one you like the best. Or everybody could post links to their five favorite things they saw on the internet, ever. That could be interesting.

contest. we play what's called top five. everyone takes a turn at top five by listing in no necessary order the top five of anything. worst things ever invented by man, top five movies, top five underwear brands. etc. make the list up as you go. then when everyone has listed thier top five that week we all vote. the winner gets something. maybe a gift certificate to one of the top five worst corporations. walmart for example. or a vote once a month. and a subscription to a paid website. like national geographic. or the winner gets a tshirt from thier favorite website. a ticket to a show. we all send in a dollar and the winner gets the jack pot.
