We skipped the light fandango
turned cartwheels 'cross the floor
I was feeling kinda seasick
but the crowd called out for more
The room was humming harder
as the ceiling flew away
When we called out for another drink
the waiter brought a tray
“It has been said that John Lennon, in 1967, loved A Whiter Shade Of Pale so much that he would listen to it through headphones over and over during long journeys in the back of his limo. Upon reaching his destination, he would remain lying on the back seat, saying he had to hear it just a few more times before getting out of the car”. Procol Harum picture sleeves... Nice set-o-links! The alphabet of jazz is cool. It also leads to even more music blogs...plenty to explore THERE for the evening!

I was 12 & WSOP was playing on the radio when I met a girl on Long Island while visiting my grandmother. We went swimming at night and I had a crush on her. When I went to visit her in greenwich village the song played again. I thought it was fate. Amazing how certain songs can still take you back. In high school when I reader Chaucer's Miller's Tale the song came back to me again & the memory. Thanks for the flashback Hanan
