Push One To Proceed in English. Bill Balsamico, owner of Casa D'Ice in North Versailles, PA, expresses his very opinionated political ideas on the sign in front of his restaurant

The Grand Lake Theater in Berkeley Oakland does too

Pay from the heart. Seva Café is a restaurant at which you aren't allowed to pay your bill but can agree to pay the bill of a party seated in the future. And your bill was paid for by someone who ate there before you arrived

A Czech restaurant where the waitresses are naked. WARNING: Nakedness inside!

The Grand Lake theater is not actually in Berkeley, but in Oakland; though the theater owner's political stance clearly is in solidarity with many of his neighbors in Berkeley.

There are several pubs & restaurants in Prague with naked waitresses. I think that photo was taken at a pub on Sokolovska.

For several years alongside Interstate 5 near Chehalis, Washington, a man named Al Hamilton had an enormous billboard set up which featured a picture of a weary-looking Uncle Sam, along with some far right-wing screed about current events. I never agreed with what the sign had to say, but it was always a welcome distraction on long car trips. Hamilton finally died, and I haven't been down that way in while, so I don't know if it's still there.

The billboard no longer exists at "the Nazi cow farm", as a former sweetie of mine referred to it, but has moved across the street and a mile or so away. Here's Hamilton's comment on nearby Olympia's famed Evergreen State College -

(sorry if it's not linked; it's worth the 5 seconds to cut and paste)
The funniest part is that Evergreen made it into a postcard to sell in their gift shop, thus Hamilton inadvertently made money for the institution ranked the number 1 counter-culture college by the editors at High Times.
