2nd degree of terrible separation

I was shocked to find out over the weekend that not only did the killer who planned to eat the murdered girl in Oklahoma, linked to Grow-a-brain on his blog, but that I actually linked to his blog over two years ago! Since yesterday I’ve been getting many hits from the surfers who heard about his blog “Strange Things are Afoot at the Circle K.” What an awful, small world. I could do without this proximity…

Colin at The Bog Brush put me "In The Chair" a few weeks ago, and conducted a long web-interview with me about the genesis behind Grow-a-brain. Enjoy.

There was nothing that looked too strange about his blog until you went to his complete profile where you see:
If you were a cannibal, what would you wear to dinner?
The skin of last night's main course.
Just makes you sick to think that most people thought it was just a sick and funny joke -- but he was really just a sick f*ck.

The only one I have in digital format. Taken with the webcam on a MacBook Pro at work and then an effect added to make me less ugly than in real life. :-)

I don't love this photo of me, but it's probably a good likeness. Thanks again for your great blog! Honest, there are probably some really nice people reading grow-a-brain too! The ratio is like a million to one. No worries.

Grow-a-brain does all the deep surfing for me, it's interesting and saves me many hours finding all this stuff stuck in the sticky corners of the web. Thanks and keep it up.

in this online age, such confluences of fate grow ever more common and with only a click's degree of separation between you and the next budding cannibal's blog, it's probably best not to dwell too much on what it all means...

...best, instead to check out my pic :

No photo, but I mentioned Grow-A-Brain in my LiveJournal recently. I doubt anyone has seen it--
