Back to Germany

The following is full text of the Unabomber's Manifesto: "The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in "advanced" countries, but they have destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (in the Third World to physical suffering as well) and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world…" (Sound like Engels)
One of our neighbors is moving back to Germany…
A quick collection of things George Bush has said he isn't: "I'm not a stock broker. I'm not a stock picker. My attitude on Wall Street is they'll buy you or sell you, depending upon if it's in their interest."

This is an odd bit of synchronicity... I was writing this weekend, working out some concepts for a book I'm working on, and had been wanting to find this when I got back. Wondered if Kaczynski were still alive (he is). That's not the odd bit though, the fact you found it posted in full and linked to the Findlay Courier is. The job I was working last year had me there a few times on service calls for their newspaper stackers. I had gone the first time to install an updated computer control system, and three others for various reasons. I was just thinking _today_ while at my new job, how I'd prefer a nice drive on rte.6 out to visit Findlay on such a beautiful day instead of re-working a piece of crap weldment made by a first-time vendor for the robotic weld cell I am working on.
(I found this via the Cabal, btw)
