Dean Karnazes makes marathons look like a jog in the park. The 42-year-old San Franciscan has run 226.2 miles nonstop; finished the first-ever marathon to the South Pole; and won the 135-mile Badwater Ultramarathon across California’s Death Valley National Park—in 130-degree weather.
