Today is exactly 9 months and 28 days since I’ve launched the new Grow-a-Brain. So it is only appropriate that I present here the latest hit-count:
Total number of hits: 482,562
Average per day: 1592.61
Today: 4,821
In the last hour: 248
This week: 22,222
The most popular posting during this time was the White Shirt experiment that generated as many as 11,000 hits a day in November.
My biggest gripe is that in spite of the steady growth in the number of visitors to this site, very few readers bother to leave any comments or feedback. So please do.
I need to stop paying hosting fees for my old site and move my domains here. I’m also planning a new site, soon.

I feel your pain. I think it is the type of content we provide that tends to limit our comments. We are mostely links and few personal posts.

Thanks for the work you do on this site. The internet really is home to many wierd and wonderful things and without the work of people like you I for one would probably never see them. So thanks again and I promise to make more comments in the future.

Guilty as charged. Like ritilan said, people most likely don't see the person behind the links. They see something interesting, they follow a link, they wander off. I do it all the time. You are right of course, leaving a little comment only takes a minute and is the logical thing to do when you appreciate someone's work. Which I do. :-) I've spent a lot of time perusing your archives and always found something interesting. Here's to another 9 months and 28 days. Cheers!

I also think you do an amazing job of gathering links and have quite an impressive site. Most folks have no idea how much crap you must look at in order to find just one interesting site. Keep up the good work.

Grow-a-Brain is my favorite spot on the Web. I never miss it. You do great work, finding fun, obscure, interesting, unusual things to share with all of us, and your organization is impeccable. Keep it up, and don't let the non-commenting get to you!
