Bro,
The US and our allies are winning this war on terrorists in Afganistan and Iraq, and Iran is boxed in regardless of what the TV "news" shows and "news" papers would have you believe.
Allied casualties are at record lows. Voluntary enlistment and re-enlistment is high. This world is a safer place, and will be more secure once the radical islamists are disarmed.
If we walk away from this one, like we did with Viet Nam, believe it that there will be hell to pay, and not just with thousands of abandoned Allied sympathizers slaughtered in the Middle East.
Consider an infection. If you stop taking the medicine before the infection is wiped out, it will come back stronger, and might kill you, and will be a lot harder to eliminate. I don't like that scenario.
Just sayin.
