We lived on a hill growing up in Virginia City, NV. In the summer, we would roll apples from our tree down the hill past one street and eventually onto and past the main drag. We would hit cars and run inside, come back out two minutes later and do it all over again. One day after school, this idiot kid found a bowling ball in the lot next to our house. He started pushing it up the hill and then catching it when it rolled back down, a little higher each time. You can see where this is going and one time he couldn't catch it on the way down and the bowling ball started bouncing down the hill picking up steam going down to the main drag below. It barely missed a mother and her daughter and flew past a car and just kept on rolling. I was terrified. It kept on screaming down the street until it finally peeled off into a lot far below. Thankfully no one was injured...
